These Framboise turquoise earrings, made of vintage bakelite beads, are very light to wear. The silver part is hammered and has tender structure. Allow yourself or your loved ones a splash of colour for every day! I have used the turquoise lacquer on bakelite (plastic) re-used beads from vintage jewellery. Bakelite jewellery was most popular between 1920 to 1940 during the Art Deco period. Also some famous companies, like Chanel and Van Cleef and Arpel, worked with this material and created bakelite jewellery. Where does my inspiration come from? And where does it end? Where it has no limits and no rules, it is inexhaustible. With myriads of sources, in all shapes and colors, it develops itself. The inspiration’s floating in weightless state, it never stands still. By movements of the water pulled back and forth – a solid bottom does not exist. Unknown waters catch our senses with mystic turquoise.
