The exhibition entitled\u00a0Devotional Jewellery<\/a><\/strong>,\u00a0Pensieri Preziosi<\/em>\u00a017\u00b0\u00a0Edition, will be held from 26th November 2022 to 16th February 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Opening 25th November 2022 at the Oratorio of San Rocco Padova – Italy<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The theme proposed for the competition was not intended as “religious devotion”, but as a broad vision of the concept and meaning of\u00a0“Loss”<\/em>\u00a0intended as a sudden, total and permanent loss of a beloved person, as shown for example, in the jewels of the so-called\u00a0Mourning Jewelry production of the Victorian era<\/em>, or of a loss that involves the vital system of our planet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event has been made possible thanks to the Municipality of Padua – Department of Culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In life there are often times when we feel like we are losing ourselves. I might lose myself to my work, relationship, sadness, or something else. It is a phase where I completely ignore and forget about myself and my feelings. It feels like a never ending hole, like a no way out situation. This feeling is strong in pandemic times. The life has changed. More than ever we have to stay true to ourselves. When we feel loss, we feel emptiness. We need an illusion to disguise the loos of ourselves. In the Necklace \u201cIllusionata\u201d lies emptiness and silence. The red hollow form hides a glass container with my red colored hair. It reminds me on the time when I was loosing myself, when I looked in that deep dark bottomless cave called my inner self.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
