Gold Necklace Blue Sapphire is a new piece, to wear in every occasion. It is small, light but very strong with its brilliance and shape. Simple pendant with no ornaments, just one rectangle cut sapphire in claw setting with four prongs. This precious gem contrasts with the polished surface of the white gold. This white gold pendant is combined with yellow gold venetian box chain. It reminds of a precious piece thrown into water and making circles in water. These soft irregularities make the surface alive depending on the angle you are looking at it. By movements of the water pulled back and forth – a solid bottom does not exist. This jewellery shows how I see the real, or even the unreal. Sapphire is a precious gemstone, highly coveted for its blue colour. The most beautiful sapphires have a vivid, bright blue colour, but you can also find these wonderful gems in fancy pink, orange, green, brown, purple and violet hues.
For me, to create jewellery, is to make the inner world visible. Colours and forms of biological organisms transformed in the mind and through the hands. Amidst the chaos, there is harmony.
